Hi! My name is Allison and I am a Professional Travel Advisor with Mom Approved Travel specializing in family and group travel with destinations such as Walt Disney World, Universal, All-Inclusive Resorts and Cruising.

I was born and raised in Texas, studied accounting and finance in college and spent 20+ years in accounting and as a CFO for an industrial service company. While I love accounting, I have always had a passion for travel and adventure!

As an adoptee to a family with a different ethnicity to my own, I was always fascinated with different cultures.  My mother was determined to see the world and I was lucky to be her travel buddy.  We traveled from Asia to Europe, the Caribbean and many states in the U.S.  This has given me invaluable experience and an appreciation of the wonder the world and its people have to offer.  With my travels, I developed a love of adventure, whether it means hiking up a mountain, rafting down white-water rapids or racing ATVs through the desert, the excitement makes me feel that I am living life to the fullest!  I feel the same excitement with every trip I plan, excited for my clients to have their next great adventure!

I have had a love for all things Disney as far back as I can remember.  My nursery was Winnie the Pooh themed, and as a teen I chose to have all things Mickey Mouse.  My first vacation experience was at 11 to Disneyland and again at 17 with my high school drill team.  But the real magic happened when I brought my three children to Disney for the very first time.  I’m pretty sure I was excited enough for all of us, but seeing their faces lit up and continuing to hear them talk about the “pixie dust” moments they experienced made my love for Disney grow exponentially.  There is just nothing quite like it! This experience of taking my own family on vacations is what lead me to want to pursue a career as a Travel Advisor, as helping others feel the same joy I experienced is so fulfilling!

I bring my 20+ years of experience as an accountant and years of travel experience to provide highly detail-oriented service and first hand expertise ensuring my clients have the vacation they have been dreaming of.  I find organization to be a stress reliever, and my goal is to relieve your stress by taking all the work of planning off of you.  You can sit back and enjoy the memories you will have!
