Yes, you can have date night(s) or date day for the two of you while on vacation with the kids!
Are you thinking about bringing your baby or toddler on a NCL cruise?
For the youngest passengers, NCL offers Guppies Programs (6 months – under 4 years old) so parents and kids can have a spot to play big and participate in complementary fun activities together!
Most ships also include a supervised nursery Guppies program available for a fee so Mom & Dad can enjoy other activities onboard for daytime fun or enjoy an evening out without the littles.
Exploration and fun for the kiddos 3-12 years old with Splash Academy
For potty-trained children, there is fun available day to night! Your children can explore activities and play in a complementary supervised programs lead by fun, engaging youth counselors! Don’t worry, kids are broken up into age groups for developmentally appropriate fun!
Children from 3 – 5 years old will play in the “turtles” group and engage in Arts & crafts, painting, Circus School, sensory play, storytelling parades, and other developmental play.
Children from 6 – 9 years old will play with fellow “seals” participating in theme nights, painting, sports & games, treasure hunts, video games, parades, team-building challenges and learning circus skills such as: juggling, plate spinning, devil sticks, rope spinning and more!
Your 10-12 year old tweens will play with other “dolphins” engaging in scavenger hunts, spy themed night play, sports, games, video games, an Entourage take-over, Circus skills and show including stilts, ball juggling, Chinese yo-yo, plate spinning, devil sticks and more!

Entourage is JUST for teens and gives them a place to kick back and chill doing everything from games, arts & crafts, dance, sing and just be themselves.

A Norwegian Cruise has you covered! Late Night Fun Zone is a fee-based option from 11pm-1am available for 3-12 years old so you can enjoy a romantic night out knowing the kids are supervised by trained and certified staff.

Mandara Spa onboard a NCL Cruise has a wide variety of experiences, but one of our absolute Mom Approved favorites is the Thermal Suite Lounge where you can unwind in a hot stone lounger as you enjoy breathtaking views of the sea.

Booking your Norwegian Cruise with a Mom Approved Travel Advisor is complimentary for most cruise vacations. There are some unique circumstances, we may charge a service fee which will be disclosed upfront. There are no hidden fees working with Mom Approved Travel.
If you have already booked your Norwegian Cruise Vacation trip with NCL, depending on the circumstances we MAY be able to transfer it to the agency to allow your Advisor to assist without a fee within 14 days of booking, if you are outside of final payment.
If we are unable to transfer a cruise, we do offer a concierge planning option based on your needs.

Payment terms and conditions are set by the supplier, in this case, Norwegian Cruise Line.
Deposits: If you are booking a cruise further out, you may only need to pay a deposit to hold your trip. Final payment dates vary and are usually based on length of cruise.
All cruise payment requirements vary based on the supplier, but your MAT Travel Advisor can answer questions about your specific sailing.
Your Mom Approved Travel Advisor monitors your reservations for promos and will apply them IF they save you money. Sometimes promotions do not apply to all dates, room types or are released on the same date as a price increase. Your MAT Advisor has your back and will make sure you get the best value for your hard earned vacation dollars.
Your payments will be processed into the NCL secure payment portals by your Travel Advisor. The agency does not hold or deposit any of your vacation package funds into our company account.
NCL accepts most major credit cards.
Any charges to your credit card will show up as a charge from the supplier, and not Mom Approved Travel.
Thankfully, it is Norwegian Cruise’s policy to have a physician and nurse are on each ship to provide medical care and services at customary charges. Commonly used medications are kept on board and may be prescribed by the ship’s doctor.
However, we still STRONGLY recommend getting Trip Insurance.

Unlike most other ships in the cruise industry, there is no required or recommended tipping on NCL ships for service that is generally rendered to all Guests. (MAT still suggests gratuities)
While you should not feel obligated to offer a gratuity, NCL encourages all of their staff are encouraged to “go the extra mile,” so they are permitted to accept cash gratuities for exceptional or outstanding service if you care to offer them.
Also, certain staff positions (e.g., concierge, butler, youth program staff and beverage service) provide service on an individual basis to only some guests and do not benefit from the overall service charge. NCL encourages those Guests to acknowledge good service from these staff members with appropriate gratuities.
Additionally, there is an 20% gratuity and spa service charge added for all spa and salon services, as well as an 20% gratuity and beverage service charge added for all beverage purchases and an 20% gratuity and specialty service charge added to all specialty restaurant dining and entertainment based dining.
