Hi I’m Melissa, your Professional Travel Advisor! I am part of the Mom Approved Travel team where I specialize in family, couple and group travel.

I knew from an early age that I would grow up to be a “helper.” As a licensed social worker, I spent 10+ years in roles that allowed me to be a helping hand for those in my community. I am no stranger to problem-solving and tough situations!

After starting my family, I chose to take a break to focus on these precious younger years. During that same time, I began planning our 1^st Walt Disney World vacation.  It was then that I began to fall in love with the process and details of vacation planning. The planning became as much fun for me as the trip itself.

I happily joined Mom Approved Travel as a Professional Travel Advisor in 2022 where I’ve been able to combine my drive to help others with my passion for travel planning. It has been an absolute joy to offer my guests a helping hand with creating the vacations they’ve dreamt of!

Since then, I have done it all: family vacations, honeymoons, solo travel, adults-only vacations, extended- family and multigenerational travel. I am confident that my guidance and expertise add value to every one of my guest’s vacations!

As a leader within the travel community, you can find me throughout the year at some of my favorite vacation destinations. I make frequent visits to Disney Destinations, Universal Studios, exploring new cities and enjoying down time someplace with my family in our little camper. I enjoy visiting my favorites as well as adding new destinations to my repertoire!
